You can set up and manage all of your alerts from your mobile device.


Choose and customize your own text1 and email alerts.

Want to know when your balance is low or a payment is due? These are just a couple of the many types of alerts you can receive for your U.S. Bank checking, savings and credit card accounts. Set up alerts for:

  • Large transactions for deposits, withdrawals or charges over a specific dollar amount
  • Low balances that fall below a specific dollar amount
  • Checking overdrafts and Overdraft Protection transfers
  • Credit card payments that are due or overdue
  • Availability of new statements and other online documents

Security Alerts: We’ll always send alerts for critical changes to your account, including changes to your address, email, phone number, Personal ID, passwords, PINs and other verification credentials.

How to Set Up Account Alerts

Ready to get started? Simply log in to the U.S. Bank Mobile app2, open the main menu and tap Self Service. Once you’re there, scroll down to the Account Alerts option. You can set up and manage all of your alerts from your mobile device.

There’s more you can do with Mobile Self Service:

  • Enroll in Mobile Banking
  • Change your login ID and password
  • Get login assistance
  • Update your security preferences
  • Activate your debit card or change your PIN
  • Report a lost or stolen credit card
  • View images of past checks and deposit slips
